Project Management.

Collectively, our senior management team have nearly 140 years’ experience in the management and delivery of a diverse range of building and project types. There is little we have not encountered, navigated through, and overcome to get the job done with professionalism and dedication. This is why we’ve been in business for nearly 50 years. We have a wealth of knowledge, yet recognise the importance of continuous learning, given the uniqueness of each project. Our most important project management task is to understand our client’s project requirements. Acting as your agent, Skope will plan and manage your vision to fruition. 

We will provide project leadership and momentum. We will manage the definition, development, and delivering of a client brief. We will manage project resources, communication, budget and costs, quality, functionality, and risk. Skope will report regularly, identifying issues, solutions, and recommendations, whilst also providing next step advice. We will manage your project diligently and enthusiastically from inception to close out. Our project management skills are dedicated to the built environment across public and private sectors. Skope offers a client focused service, providing a single point of contact, designed to make project related communication efficient and effective for all our clients.

Health & Safety.

Skope provides health and safety consultancy services to manage the health and safety aspects of a project from initial design through to operational use. As principal designer on a project we plan, manage, and monitor the health and safety of the pre–construction phase. Gaps in health and safety information are identified and addressed. Risk management of health and safety matters is undertaken with our design team. We develop the pre–construction health and safety information for projects, liaising with clients, designers and third parties to identify and communicate foreseeable hazards that cannot be eliminated through the design process. We liaise with the principal contractor throughout the construction stage to address health and safety aspects of design development. The health and safety file for each project is developed as the project progresses, to ensure the client can operate the building safely and efficiently after handover. Skope provides advice and education on all aspects of construction health and safety management, providing support to our clients and other professionals as required. 

Skope provides health and safety auditing services, including the review of health and safety management systems, and the auditing of health and safety on construction sites.

Cost Management.

Ensuring value for money is achieved is our key driver. At Skope we are adept at managing the fine balance between the client’s budget and stakeholders’ priorities, whilst ensuring that the project brief to the required quality is achieved within budget and on time. The breadth and depth of our sector experience and knowledge enables us to provide sound, evidence–based advice when developing project budgets. We ensure the projects are completed within the agreed budget. 

Our services include feasibility/appraisal studies; assessing project viability; cost planning; value management; procurement; tendering; construction and delivery; forecasting the cost to completion; and project completion – overseeing the financial close out ensuring a seamless handover. Skope also provides support and advice once the project is complete and in use.
