Skope provides health and safety consultancy services to manage the health and safety aspects of a project from initial design through to operational use. As principal designer on a project we plan, manage, and monitor the health and safety of the pre–construction phase. Gaps in health and safety information are identified and addressed. Risk management of health and safety matters is undertaken with our design team. We develop the pre–construction health and safety information for projects, liaising with clients, designers and third parties to identify and communicate foreseeable hazards that cannot be eliminated through the design process. We liaise with the principal contractor throughout the construction stage to address health and safety aspects of design development. The health and safety file for each project is developed as the project progresses, to ensure the client can operate the building safely and efficiently after handover. Skope provides advice and education on all aspects of construction health and safety management, providing support to our clients and other professionals as required.
Skope provides health and safety auditing services, including the review of health and safety management systems, and the auditing of health and safety on construction sites.
